Ashleigh Potter
Hi I’m Ashleigh.
I’m a Paralegal in our Ipswich office.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Psychology at Southern Cross University and am two years into my law degree. Alongside my studies, I also hold a Certificate IV in Criminology and Justice.
My passion for Family Law began in high school when I first discovered my interest in the legal profession, and since then I have always felt naturally drawn to this area of law. I am passionate about supporting people through some of the most difficult and emotional periods of their lives and believe Family Law provides a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference for individuals and families when they need guidance and support most.
Before joining the Family Law industry, I worked as a Legal Assistant in Personal Injury and Insurance Law, gaining experience across WorkCover, CTP, motor vehicle accident, and casualty matters. Prior to my legal career, I spent six years working with Bunnings in North Queensland as a Team Leader, where I developed strong communication, leadership, and client service skills that continue to assist me in building supportive relationships with clients.
My goal is to become a Family Lawyer and continue developing the knowledge and skills needed to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout their legal journey.
