Hello, I’m Audrey.

I work in Best Wilson Buckley’s Toowoomba office as a specialist family lawyer.

My legal career started in the area of migration law before I joined BWB and the world of family law in 2021. I was grateful to be working as a Paralegal whilst completing my law degree and post-graduate studies, which ultimately gifted me with a well-rounded and informed understanding of the family law process. Since I began working as a lawyer in early 2022, my clients have benefited from this understanding and the holistic and realistic advice that I provide.

As a Toowoomba local, I’m proud to be working in one of the largest specialist family law firms in the area and providing a high standard of legal advice to our rural community.

Why family law?

As a family lawyer, I’m constantly meeting with people at uncertain and difficult periods in their lives. This provides me with a unique opportunity to provide individuals with some stability and certainty during this time, and to work with them to achieve an outcome that provides them with that stability and certainty moving forward. It’s a truly rewarding opportunity to be able to support people day in, day out.

Why do you enjoy working at BWB?

Since joining the BWB team, I have had the opportunity to learn from and work with a number of highly skilled and experienced senior lawyers across the firm. In my formative years, I was trusted to draft court material and be responsible for the day-to-day management of family law files, which also helped to strengthen and refine my client communication skills. The team approach that is fostered at BWB means our clients are still receiving the highest quality of legal advice and support but at a more cost effective price point. After all, our clients are already worried about enough, and costly legal bills shouldn’t be on that list of worries.
